All hardware on this laptop is well supported under Linux.

The wireless adapter requires ndiswrapper, and a Windows driver, to work properly. Ndiswrapper is very easy to use, though, so this is not a big hurdle. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available.

The ATI Radeon 9600 is supported using both ATI's proprietary drivers, and the GPL radeon driver. 3D acceleration is available for both drivers. Each driver also comes in either 32-bit or 64-bit flavors.

Known Issues

The hard drive is notoriously slow. This causes slowdowns under various loads that are just shameful on a system that otherwise performs in an outstanding manner.
